Sky Force: Akshay Kumar on launching newcomers & Veer Pahariya in Bollywood; says, “It is not about kya mera role isse bada hai ki nahi”

Actor Akshay Kumar has always been a staunch advocate for nurturing fresh talent in Bollywood. The actor is known for recognizing the vitality newcomers bring to the industry. Over the years, Akshay has played an instrumental role in mentoring and launching budding actors who have gone on to carve their paths in Indian cinema.

During the trailer launch of Sky Force, the actor stated that he doesn’t have the fear of launching anyone of the story is good. Akshay Kumar extended his support to Veer Pahariya, a newcomer set to make his Bollywood debut. Speaking about the importance of welcoming fresh faces, the Khiladi actor said, “I don’t have the fear of launching anyone. This film required him and he got the part. That’s the most important thing that we have to be true to the film nothing else. Suppose the film requires somebody like him then why not. The film is about him, I quite like the whole film, I like the screenplay, it is not about kya mera role isse bada hai ki nahi… it is that the film is good.”

Veer Pahariya, is associated with an upcoming grand project Sky Force with superstar Akshay Kumar. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Skyforce is a tribute to India’s unsung heroes. It celebrates their courage, sacrifice, and camaraderie. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik. The film will be released in theatres on 24th January 2025. It is perfectly timed for Republic Day week, promising an inspiring and patriotic start to the year.
